At Sristi Interior, we had the opportunity to conceptualize and execute both the architectural and interior design of Hotel Himalaya, a premium hospitality project located in the heart of Bongaigaon, Assam. This project was approached with a comprehensive vision — to create a landmark hotel that delivers modern comfort, visual appeal, and functional excellence for both leisure and business travelers.

Architectural Concept

Our architectural approach was guided by practicality, elegance, and regional sensitivity. We designed a well-balanced structure that integrates seamlessly with the surrounding environment while standing out as a modern hospitality icon in the city. The building features a clean, contemporary façade with thoughtful spatial planning to accommodate guest rooms, banquet halls, dining areas, and service zones efficiently.

Large windows, strategic natural lighting, and structural symmetry were key elements that contributed to the energy efficiency and aesthetic harmony of the hotel. The elevation was enhanced with subtle modern textures, lighting fixtures, and geometric forms that give the building its distinctive identity.

Interior Design Approach

The interior design was crafted to evoke warmth, elegance, and relaxation — essential attributes for a hotel experience. Upon entering, guests are welcomed by a grand yet calming reception lobby, adorned with polished surfaces, custom-made furniture, warm lighting, and artistic accents. We combined wood, stone, and ambient lighting to create a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere throughout the property.

Each guest room was designed with comfort and style in mind. Soft tones, high-quality upholstery, efficient lighting, and ergonomic furniture contribute to a pleasant stay. Bathrooms were designed with premium fittings and sleek finishes, maintaining the balance between luxury and functionality.

The banquet and conference areas were planned to be spacious and flexible, suitable for hosting both formal and social events. We installed acoustic paneling, advanced lighting controls, and rich textures to enhance usability and elegance. The restaurant and lounge were styled to offer a fine-dining experience, with thoughtful zoning, stylish décor, and ambient mood lighting.

Our Contribution

From concept to completion, Sristi Interior handled every aspect — including floor planning, structural design, MEP coordination, interior themes, furniture design, and on-site execution. Our integrated approach ensured a consistent design language throughout the property.

The final result is a modern, well-equipped hotel that reflects our commitment to excellence in both architecture and interior design.
